The West Central Trojan girls soccer team split their last two matches. They hosted the Garretson Blue Dragons on Thursday, September 19th and then traveled to Sioux Falls to play the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers on Tuesday, September 24th.
In their final regular season home match of the season on the 19th, West Central jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead in the first half against the Blue Dragons. The Trojans would add another goal in the second half and keep Garretson scoreless in a 4-0 victory.
In a matchup of two of the top teams in Class A girls soccer, the action matched the hype. The two teams played a scoreless first half. The Chargers got a goal from Oaklee Hadler, assisted by Kenley Anderson, in the second half, and that was the only score of the game. Sioux Falls Christian took the win 1-0.
