The West Central Trojan boys golf team played in two tournaments on Thursday, September 14th. Part of the team in the Elk Point-Jefferson Match Play tournament. During this tournament each player receives points for their team based on what place they get in their group. The Trojan team finished fourth with 54 points.
Aiden Lanham had a first place finish in his group. Karson Olson placed second. Gunnar Alfson and Dylan Bettcher had third place finishes. Anthony Lanham and Connor Mebius both had fourth place finishes. Kamden Zomer and Adam Johnson finished seventh.
Members of the golf team also participated in Madison with the team placing first with a team score of 381. The Trojans also took the top two spots individually. Collin Freemark placed first with a round of 86. Hayden Heier was second with a 90. Liam Schmeichel placed 13th with a round of 98. Easton Eberhard had a 107. Isaac Fajardo finished with a 114, and Taten VanOverbeke had a 115.
