Anthony Lanham returned home from Rapid City with the 2023 South Dakota Class A State Boys Golf Individual title. Lanham finished with a -1 two-day total of 143, beating Vincent VanLiere of St Thomas More by two strokes. Lanham finished the first day with a round of 68 and the second day with a round of 75.
The two other golfers representing the Trojans at the state meet also had great tournaments. Kamden Zomer finished tied for 18th with a two-day score of 162 (76, 86). Connor Mebius tied for 39th place with a two-day score of 172 (85, 85).
The state tournament was held at Hart Ranch in Rapid City on Monday, October 2nd and Tuesday, October 3rd.
