The West Central legion baseball team hosted Colton on Tuesday, June 13th and earned a 7-1 victory.
Keaton Vessells had an RBI single and later scored on an error in the bottom of the first inning. Gage Nelson scored on an error in the bottom of the third. Nelson then had a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth. Nelson later scored on an error to make the score 6-0. Colton got a run in the top of the sixth. Domo Chandeswang scored on an error in the bottom of the sixth for a 7-1 lead.
Vessells had two hits and an RBI. Nelson had a single and two RBIs. Duece Sherard finished with a double, and Andrew Zimmer had a single. Zimmer pitched 6 2/3 innings allowing one earned run on six hits and two walks with eight strikeouts. Chandeswang pitched 1/3 of an inning.
