Both the girls and boys West Central Trojan track teams won the Hanson Invite on Monday, May 15th. The girls finished with a total of 163 points. The boys team had a total of 116 points.
Molli Thornton won the 100m dash. Alexa Borns took the top spot in the 400m dash. Bailey Stallman finished first in the 800m run. Drew Caffrey took the top spot in the 3200m run. Brie Peters won the 1600m run and placed third in the 800m run. The 4x200m relay team of Baylee Poss, R. Goehring, Borns, and Thornton took first place. Rayna Goehring was second in the 100m dash and second in the 200m dash. Hadley Larson was second in the 3200m run. Cambell Fischer took second in the shot put. The 4x800m relay team of Larson, Jazelle Jarding, Cambree Ideker, and Ryenn Caffrey placed second. Ellie McDonald placed third in the 400m dash. The sprint medley relay team of Tessa VanOverbeke, Vera Jesse, Clara Nelson, and Ideker finished third.
Layton Johnson won the 200m dash. Wyatt Nielsen placed first in the 400m dash. Jonathan Roth was first in the 1600m run. Liam Schmeichel won the 300m dash. The 4x200m relay team of Mason Berens, Carter Schmeichel, Nielsen, and Johnson won the event. The 4x400m relay team of Rylee Hartung, C. Schmeichel, Nielsen, andd Jude Jarding took the top spot. The sprint medley relay team of Preston Butts, Berens, Jarding, and Benjamin Strunk also took the top spot. C. Schmeichel finished second in the 400m dash.
