The Tri-Valley White 16U team finished in a 5-5 tie with Garretson on Thursday, July 11th.
Garretson took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the first. Tri-Valley tied the game, 2-2, with two runs in the top of the second. Garretson regained the lead, 3-2, with a run on the bottom of the second. After a scoreless third inning, Garretson extended their lead to 5-2 with two runs in the bottom of the fourth. Tri-Valley rallied to tie the game with three runs in the top of the fifth.
Zach Pester, Owen Bunde, and Sullivan Snethen all had a double and an RBI each. Aden Woodraska added a single and an RBI. Gabriel VanDyke finished with a double. Bracken Sharpe also had a hit. VanDyke pitched three innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits with five strikeouts. B Schmidt pitched three innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on two hits and two walks with four strikeouts.
