West Central scored six runs in the first two innings to lead them to a victory over Tri-Valley Maroon 16U in Humboldt on Monday, June 12th. Tri-Valley acted as the home team in the game.
West Central scored four times in the top of the first and two more in the top of the second for a 6-0 lead. Gage Egger scored on an error in the bottom of the second to put Tri-Valley on the board. West Central scored two more times in the top of the fourth.
Kaiden Bernards had two hits, and Dylan Christensen had the only other hit in the game. Tristen Bunde pitched three innings allowing six earned runs on seven hits and three walks with three strikeouts. Denton Bicknase pitched three innings and allowed two runs, one earned, on six hits and a walk with one strikeout.
