Tri-Valley Maroon 16U held a 3-1 lead, but Parker scored the final four runs of the game and won 5-3 on Monday, June 26th.
Cyrus Kirstein scored on a passed ball for an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Dylan Christensen had an RBI single in the top of the second to push the lead to 2-0. Parker cut the lead in half, 2-1, with a run in the bottom of the second. Kirstein had an RBI single in the top of the fifth, and Tri-Valley led 3-1. Parker, however, scored three times in the bottom of the fifth to take a 4-3 lead. They added an insurance run in the bottom of the sixth.
Carter Sorenson had two hits, one a triple. Kirstein and Christensen each had a hit and an RBI. Kaiden Bernards added a triple. Hunter Foster and Denton Bicknase both had one hit. Bicknase pitched 2 2/3 innings and allowed four runs, one earned, on five hits with four strikeouts. Tristen Bunde pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed an earned run on five hits and two walks with three strikeouts. Sorenson pitched one inning and allowed two hits with two strikeouts.
