Tri-Valley Maroon 16U (7-7) scored 14 runs in a row to earn a 14-3 win over Garretson on Friday, July 21st in five innings.
Garretson scored the first three runs of the game in the bottom of the first inning, but they were shut out from that point forward. Tri-Valley scored one run in the second and then had a seven-run third inning for an 8-3 lead. They then scored three runs each in the fourth and fifth inning.
Brody Dybvig had four hits, including a double and triple, with four RBIs. Hunter Foster had two hits, one a double, and two RBIs. Tristen Bunde and Gage Egger both had a double and an RBI. Denton Bicknase and Kaiden Bernards both finished with a single and an RBI. Cyrus Kirstein and Mason Hemme had a hit each. Bunde pitched one inning and allowed three earned runs on four hits and a walk. Dybvig pitched two innings and allowed two walks with three strikeouts. Kirstein pitched 1 2/3 innings and allowed a hit and walk with four strikeouts.
