The Tri-Valley high school baseball team was blanked by Dell Rapids 7-0 in Dell Rapids on Monday, April 13th.
Dell Rapids scored a run right away in the bottom of the first inning. The score remained 1-0 until the bottom of the fourth. Dell Rapids added three runs in the inning, added two more in the fifth, and another run in the bottom of the sixth.
Tri-Valley was held to just two hits in the game. Brody Dybvig had a double, and Cooper Durick had a single. Tristen Bunde pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed six runs, four earned, on six hits and a walk with seven strikeouts. Durick pitched 1 1/3 innings and allowed an unearned run on a hit with a strikeout.
