Mustangs Roll to Victory in Custer

Five different players scored touchdowns for the Mustangs as Tri-Valley rolled to 43-0 win over the Custer Wildcats on Friday, September 2nd.

The Mustangs got two scores in the opening quarter.  Carter Sorenson had a four-yard touchdown run, and Eli McFarland had a 26-yard touchdown pass to Logan Ellison.  Reese Smith made both extra points giving Tri-Valley a 14-0 lead after the first quarter.

Lawson Loiseau found the end zone in the second quarter on a seven-yard touchdown run.  Landyn Reiser added a three-yard touchdown run later in the quarter.  The Mustang defense recovered a fumble late in the second quarter, and two plays later, Sorenson was in the end zone again on an 18-yard run.  Smith made all three extra points in the second quarter, and Tri-Valley led 35-0 at halftime.

The Mustangs got one more touchdown in the third quarter.  Hayden Hastings had a 28-yard touchdown run and then scored on the two-point conversion putting the Mustangs ahead 43-0.

Tri-Valley (2-1) will travel to Sisseton on Friday, September 9th.
