Mustang Boys 4th, Girls 6th at Chester Track Meet

The Tri-Valley Mustang track team traveled to Chester for the Chester Invitational on Tuesday, April 14th.  The boys team took fourth with 90 points, and the girls finished sixth with 74 points.

Pria Martinell placed second in the 1600m run at 6:12.45 and third in the 800m run with a time of 2:45.21.  Emry Jones was second in the 100m hurdles at :16.74.  Brooke Steineke took second in the long jump with a leap of 15’1.5″.  The 4x200m relay team of Jones, Lauren Dittbenner, Peyton Vogt, and Steineke was second with a time of 1:54.71.  The 4x100m relay team of Jones, Dittbenner, Vogt, and Steineke placed second in :54.13.  The sprint medley relay team of Ava Christensen, Kadence Davey, Carleigh Cates, and Isabella Mack placed third with a time of 5:18.71.

Ty Oyen won the 110m hurdles in :15.69 and also won the 300m hurdles in :42.43.  Jaxton Rinehart took second in the 1600m run with a time of 5:00.81.  Brody Dybvig was third in the 100m dash in :11.98.  Owen Effling took third in the 200m dash in a time of :24.09.  The 4x100m relay team of Corven Jensen, Oyen, Effling, and Dybvig placed first in a time of :44.60.  The 4x200m relay team of Jensen, Oyen, Effling, and Dybvig also won in 1:33.08.
