The Tri-Valley Mustang track team hosted the Dak-12 Championships on Thursday, May 14th. The boys team tied for seventh with 40 points. The girls team placed ninth with 27.5 points.
Kadence Davey placed third in the javelin with a throw of 104’5″. Danika Fluth was fourth in the javelin at 100’7″. Emry Jones took fifth in the 100m hurdles with a time of :15.93. Ava Christensen finished fifth in the javelin with a throw of 97’0″. Pria Marinell finished seventh in the 3200m run in 13:21.62. Peyton Vogt was seventh in the 300m hurdles in a time of :49.69. The 4x100m relay team of Harper Vogt, Brooke Steineke, Ellsee Jensen, and Kwizera Lehosia finished sixth in :53.30. The 4x200m relay team of Jones, Steineke P. Vogt, and H. Vogt placed seventh in 1:55.30.
Ty Oyen finished second in the 110m hurdles with a time of :14.49. Landyn Resier was third in the 300m hurdles in :43.79. Owen Effling took sixth in the 100m dash in :11.19. The 4x100m relay team of Corven Jensen, Oyen, Effling, and Brody Dybvig placed second in :43.57. The 4x400m relay team of Breckyn Reiser, Effling, Isaiah Kendig, and Eli Kendig finished fifth in 3:48.54. The 4x200m relay team of L. Reiser, I. Kendig, Reiser, and E. Kendig took sixth in a time of 1:35.76.
