Both Mustang Track Teams Place Fifth in Canton

The Tri-Valley Mustang track teams competed in the Canton Relays on Monday, April 20th.  Both the girls and boys teams placed fifth.  The girls team had 76.5 points, while the boys team had 70 points.

Pria Martinell won the 3200m run in a time of 13:29.38.  Kadence Davey placed first in the javelin with a throw of 106’3″.  Emry Jones took second in the 100m hurdles with a time of :16.17.  Peyton Vogt placed second in the 300m hurdles in :48.74.  Ava Christensen was second in the javelin at 97’8″.  Danika Fluth finished third in the javelin at 91’10”.  Brooke Steineke took fifth in the 200m dash with a time of :27.50.  The 4x800m relay team of Rowyn Gacke, Tyler Gibson, Martinell, and Kaidence Rude placed second in a time of 12:04.76.  The 4x100m relay, 4x200m relay, and sprint medley relay teams all finished fourth.

Ty Oyen had two place finishes.  He won the 110m hurdles in :15.23 and won the 300m hurdles in :41.84.  Owen Effling placed second in the 200m dash in :23.13 and fifth in the 100m dash in :11.93.  Breckyn Reiser was third in triple jump with a jump of 36’2″.  Corven Jensen took fifth in the 200m dash in :23.67.  Landyn Reiser was fifth in the 300m hurdles with a time of :45.61 and placed fifth in the long jump at 20’4.5″.  The 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay teams had second-place finishes.  The 4x800m relay and sprint medley relay teams both finished third.
