The Tri-Valley Mustangs traveled to Hartford to play the West Central Trojans on Friday, September 18th. The Trojans earned a Homecoming win by a score of 48-0.
West Central scored on a five-yard touchdown run with 9:53 to go in the opening quarter. They added another score on a five-yard pass with 1:37 to go. Both extra points were good for a 14-0 lead.
The Trojans scored in the first minute of the second quarter on a 33-yard pass. West Central then had three more rushing touchdowns. The first one was from 10-yard with 7:30 to go in the half. They scored again about a minute later on another 10-yard run. The final score was on an 11-yard run with 3:08 to play. Three of the four extra points were made to give the Trojans a 41-0 lead at halftime.
West Central scored one more time in the third quarter. They had a 12-yard run with 4:42 to go in the quarter. The extra point was also good.
