The Tri-Valley Mustangs rolled to a big 50-0 Homecoming win over the Custer Wildcats on Friday, September 25th. The win was the first win of the season for Tri-Valley.
Cole Hendrixson opened the scoring early in the first quarter. With 10:41 to go in the first quarter, he sxored on a two-yard run for a 6-0 lead. Alex McFarland added a 22-yard touchdown run with 8:01 in the quarter. A two-point conversion made the score 14-0.
The Mustangs scored again with 5:28 to play in the second quarter. Hendrixson scored again on another tw0-yard run. McFarland had his second touchdown of the game with 0:34 to play in the half. He scored on a nine-yard run. Another made two-point conversion gave the Mustangs a 28-0 lead going into halfltime.
Hendrixson started the second half with a bang. He ran the second half kickoff back 75 yards for a touchdown. Another two-point conversion pushed the lead to 36-0. Coper Durick found the end zone on a three-yard run with 10:45 remaining in the game. The two-point try was good giving Tri-Valley a 44-0 lead. Hendrixson scored his fourth touchdown of the game on a 30-yard run with 3:01 to play ended the game at 50-0.
