The Tri-Valley Mustangs had several top 10 finishes at the 2025 South Dakota State A Track and Field Meet in Sioux Falls Thursday, May 29th through Saturday, May 31st.
Ava Christensen had a 12th-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 105’7″. Kadence Davey was 14th in the javelin at 100’0″. Emery Pearson placed 22nd in the discus at 96’9″. Reagan Pearson placed 24th in the shot put with a throw of 31’3.75″.
Owen Effling was the runner-up in the 200m dash in :22.29. Ty Oyen was fourth in the 300m hurdles in :40.96 and fifth in the 110m hurdles in a time of :14.94. Brody Dybvig finished sixth in the 100m dash in a time of :11.25. Luke Nehlich was 15th in the discus with a throw of 130’5″.
