Tri-Valley White 16U Wins Again Against Hy-Vee

The Tri-Valley White 16U team won their second game in as many days after an 11-8 victory over Hy-Vee on Wednesday, July 24th.

Tri-Valley took an early lead and never trailed.  They scored two runs in the first inning and four in the second.  Hy-Vee scored a run in each of the first two innings.  After a scoreless third inning, Tri-Valley led 6-2.  They would add four more runs in the top of the fourth for a 10-2 lead.  Hy-Vee got two runs in the bottom of the fourth.  Tri-Valley extended the lead to 11-4 after a run in the top of the fifth.  Hy-Vee rallied in the bottom of the fifth for four runs, but Tri-Valley stopped it there for the win.

Zach Pester had three hits, one a double, and four RBIs.  Gabriel VanDyke added a double and two RBIs.  Aden Woodraska and a single and two RBIs.  Luke Strom finished with a single and an RBI.  Sullivan Snethen had a double.  VanDyke pitched four innings and allowed four earned runs on four hits and four walks with two strikeouts.
