Two Big Innings Gives Tri-Valley White 16U a Win

Tri-Valley White 16U had two eight-run innings to help them to a 16-12 offensive battle against Avera on Tuesday, July 16th.

Avera scored four times in the top of the first for a 4-0 lead.  Tri-Valley responded with eight runs in the bottom of the first for an 8-4 advantage.  Avera scored three times in the top of the second and then added four more in the top of the third for an 11-8 lead.  Tri-Valley had their second eight-run inning in the bottom of the third to go ahead 16-11.  Avera got one more run in the top of the fourth.

Zach Pester and Aden Woodraska both had two hits and three RBIs each.  Sullivan Snethen had a home run and four RBIs.  Cooper finished with a double and two oRBIs.  Gabriel VanDyke and Owen Bunde had a single and an RBI.  Luke Strom and Blake Schmidt both had a single.
