Tri-Valley’s Offense in Middle Innings Too Much for CBAH Post 72

The Tri-Valley Maroon 16U team scored all their runs between the first and sixth innings in an 11-7 win over CBAH Post 72 on Sunday, July 7th.

CBAH scored two times in the top of the first for an early 2-0 lead.  Tri-Valley took the lead with a three-run bottom of the second.  They increased the lead to 4-2 with run in the bottom of the third.  CBAH regained the lead, 5-4, with a three-run top of the fourth.  The lead was short lived.  Tri-Valley scored four times in the bottom of the inning to go ahead 8-5.  CBAH got a run in the top of the fifth, but Tri-Valley added three more in their half of the inning for an 11-6 lead.  Post 72 got one more run in the top of the seventh.

Gage Egger had a double with two RBIs.  Treyson Ricther finished with a single and two RBIs.  Brody Dybvig, Tristen Bunde, Parker Atwood, and Jackson Williams all had a single and an RBI.  Parker Hemme also had a single.  Bunde pitched 4 1/3 innings and allowed six runs, four earned, on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts.  Alex Wingen pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed an earned run on three walks with five strikeouts.  Williams pitched 1/3 of an inning and gave up one hit.
