The Dell Rapids Phils hosted Sioux Falls Post 15 Black in a doubleheader on Wednesday, June 19th. Dell Rapids won both games.

The Phils took the lead in the bottom of the first inning with two runs and never tailed in the game. After Sioux Falls cut the lead to 2-1 in the top of the second, Dell Rapids scored two more runs in their half of the inning for a 4-1 lead. Sioux Falls scored another run in the top of the third to make the score 4-2. The Phils extended their lead with a six-run fourth inning and then ended the game on the 10-run rule with two runs in the fifth.
Mason Stubbe had four hits, including a home run, and three RBIs. Tad Tjaden and Talan Millage both had two hits and two RBIs each. Brandon Schmidt added a single and an RBI. Quinn Carr, Sutton Williams, Treyse Eastman, and Drake Eastman all had one hit each. CJ Smith added an RBI. Lincoln Fersdahl pitched five innings and allowed two earned runs on six hits and a walk with four strikeouts.

The Phils offense continued to roll in the second game. They scored the first nine runs, getting two runs in the first, two in the second, and five in the fourth. Sioux Falls got a run in the fifth and two in the sixth to make the score 9-3. Dell Rapids added two more runs in the sixth.
D. Eastman had two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Tjaden also had two hits and an RBI. Williams and Millage each had a single and two RBIs. Smith and Fersdahl each added a single and RBI. T. Eastman had a single, and Will Zwach had an RBI.
D. Eastman pitched 4 2/3 innings and allowed an unearned run on a hit and seven walks with four strikeouts. Millage threw 1 1/3 innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits and three walks with one strikeout. T. Eastman pitched one inning and struck out one batter.
