Dell Rapids PBR earned a split in a double header with the Canova Gang on Sunday, June 25th. PBR won the first game with Canova winning the second one.

Brett Mogen pitched seven shutout innings allowing just three hits and no walks with eight strikeouts.
PBR scored the first run of the game in the top of the fourth inning. They added another run in the top of the sixth, but then had a four-run seventh inning to secure the win.
Weston Hansen had three hits, including a home run, and two RBIs. Grant Sweeter had a hit and two RBIs. Conner Spindler had a hit and an RBI. Riley Calhoon, Tim Wilhelmsen, and Trey Randel all had one hit each.
Canova 16, Dell Rapids PBR 3
After both teams scored two runs in the first inning, Canova scored eight straight. The Gang scored three runs in the second, one in the third, and four more in the fourth for a 10-2 lead. PBR got back on the board with a run in the bottom of the fourth, but Canova scored two more in the sixth and fourth in the seventh.
Hansen had three hits, one a double, and an RBI. Tanner Solberg had a double and an RBI. Calhoon also added a double. Spindler, Mogen, CJ Smith, and Randel all had one hit each. Beau Behrend had an RBI. Sweeter pitched six innings and allowed 12 runs, six earned, on 12 hits and four walks with three strikeouts. Hansen pitched one inning and allowed four runs, two earned, on three hits and a walk with a strikeout.
