The Dell Rapids Quarrier (9-1) softball team earned another big win at home on Saturday, May 6th. The Quarriers defeated the Sioux Falls Christian Chargers in three innings by a score of 17-0.
Dell Rapids had a five-run first inning and a 12-run second inning. The Quarriers had a total of 15 hits, 11 of those hits extra base hits. The Chargers were held to just one hit.
Jaycee Tebay had three hits, two home runs and a triple, with six RBIs. Katie Scherff had a home run and double with four RBIs. Claire Wynja had a home run and triple with two RBIs. Kylee Fiddelke and Katie Kvigne both had two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Kylie Lebahn had a triple and two RBIs. Lexi Ingalls had a hit and an RBI. Rileigh Foster had two hits, one a double. Kvigne pitched three innings allowing just one hit with six strikeouts.
