The Dell Rapids Quarrier track team was in Garretson for the Jesse James Invite on Saturday, April 13th. The girls team finished second on the day with 113 points. The boys team finished sixth with 61 points.
Clara Justice won the 300m hurdles and finished second in the 100m hurdles. Alaina Wolff finished second in the 100m dash. Rorie Thoreson was second in the 3200m run. Elizabeth Krantz took second in the triple jump and third in the long jump. Keilah Kremer finished second in the high jump. Claire Wynja finished third in the shot put. Elin Schoenhard was fourth in the shot put. Sophia Godwin placed fifth in the 100m dash. The 4x200m relay team of Kylee Fiddelke, Alaina Wolff, Justice, and Godwin took the top spot. The 4x100m relay team of Godwin, Wolff, Wynja, and Fiddelke finished second. The 4x800m relay team of Thoreson, Wynja, Kirti Pickard, and Mya De Stigter took third. The 4x400m relay team of Kremer, Kassidee Stykel, DeStigter, and Krantz placed fourth.
Grady Lamer placed second in the 400m dash. Mason Stubbe took third in the 100m dash. John Mortrude was fifth in the 400m dash. The 4x400m relay team of Lamer, Cooper Cuny, Will Ronshaugen, and Mortrude finished second. The 4x100m relay team of Behr Peckenpaugh, Nick Snyder, Anthony Osborne, and Ryan Baker was third. The 4x800m relay team of Ronshaugen, Lamer, Jackson Peppel, and Mortrude finished third. The sprint medley relay team of Peckenpaugh, Hayden Hansen, Nolan Molskness, and Peppel also placed third. The 4x200m relay team of Baker, Cuny, Devin Lodmell, and Gabe Jones finished fourth.
