The Dell Rapids High School girls and boys bowling teams traveled to Eastway Bowl in Sioux Falls to face the Brandon Valley team on Tuesday, December 19th. The girls team lost by a score of 32-18 dropping their season record to 4-3 overall. The boys team also took a loss, 43.5 – 6.5, making their season record 1-6.
Chrissa Sondergaard had the high score for the girls team with a 189 game and a 534 series. Blake Lewis had the high game for the boys team with a 217 and 539 series. Sawyer Hebert had a 197 game and a 531 series. Dylan Aker had a 190 in one of his three games, and Oscar Anderson had a 185 game.
The next bowling match for Dell Rapids is currently scheduled for the second week of January at Pinz in Dell Rapids against Yankton. The girls will have their match on Thursday, January 11th, and the boys’ match will be on Friday, January 12th.
