After a win over the Humboldt/Hartford Wood Ducks on July 23rd, Dell Rapids PBR was able to punch their ticket to the state tournament with a win over Salem in the “Last Chance” game on Saturday, July 29th in the District 4B Tournament.
Dell Rapids took a loss to Madison by a score of 10-6 on Thursday, July 27th. They then played on Friday, July 28th against Lennox. Lennox took the win 4-0 to put Dell Rapids PBR in the last chance game.
Brett Mogen pitched a complete game for PBR allowing just the two runs against Salem as PBR won 3-2 to advance to the state tournament. Dell Rapids will play the Parkston Mudcats on Sunday, August 6th at 11:00 a.m.
