The Dell Rapids Quarrier track team competed in the Dak-12 Conference track meet in Vermillion on Thursday, May 11th. Dell Rapids had one individual conference champion on the day.
Clara Justice placed fourth in the 100m hurdles and sixth in the 300m hurdles. The sprint medley relay team of Sophia Godwin, Merritt Kvigne, Kylee Fiddelke, and Adison Stadem placed fourth. The 4x400m relay team of Fiddelke, Kvigne, Justice, and Kennedy Krull placed fifth. Krull finished sixth in the 400m dash. The 4x800m relay team of Stadem, Elizabeth Price, Madyn Lacey, and Jenna Miller finished sixth. Rileigh Foster had a sixth place finish in the javelin and eighth place finish in the discus. Elly Olson was eighth in the 100m hurdles. The 4x100m relay team of Fiddelke, Kvigne, Alaina Wolff, and Godwin finished eighth.
Gunnar Chamley is the Dak-12 conference champion in the discus. Braden Fersdahl finished third in the triple jump. Grady Lamer placed third in the 800m run. Josh Fletcher was third in the 3200m run and sixth in the 1600m run. The 4x400m relay team of Chase Jones, Lamer, Camden Justice, and Owen Nelson finished fourth. The 4x100m relay team of Mason Stubbe, Jones, Ryler Evans, and Nelson took fifth. The 4x800m relay team of Lamer, Noah Fritz, John Morturde, and Will Ronshaugen also placed fifth. The 4x200m relay team of Jones, Tad Tjaden, Fersdahl, and Nelson took sixth place. Matthew Nelson finished eighth in the shot put.
