The Dell Rapids Quarriers (10-2) extended their winning streak to four games on Saturday, January 28th at the Dak-12/NEC Clash in Madison. The Quarriers defeated the Aberdeen Roncalli Cavaliers 65-31.
The Quarriers pretty much blew the game open in the first quarter. They led 25-5 at the first quarter break. Dell Rapids was in front 43-16 at halftime and then 57-25 at the end of the third quarter.
Dell Rapids shot 49% (24-49) overall, 38% (8-21) on three-point attempts, and 64% (9-14) from the free-throw line. Roncalli shot just 25% (12-49) from the field, 20% (3-15) on three-point attempts, and 4-10 from the free-throw line.
Brayden Pankonen had 24 points, four rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Camden Justice finished with 12 points and three rebounds. Jack Henry had nine points and four rebounds. Rhett Kloth had six points and six rebounds. Chase Jones and Will Jaton both had five points each.
