The Dell Rapids Quarrier volleyball team won their sixth match out of their last seven after another straight set win. This time the Quarriers traveled to Lennox and defeated the Orioles by scores of 25-12, 25-7, and 25-11.
Dell Rapids went on a big run after a close 9-8 score in the opening set. The Quarriers finished the set on a 16-4 run for the 25-12 win. That momentum carried into the second set as they took an early 8-1 lead. Dell Rapids continued to lead at 14-6, and then they went on an 11-1 run to finish the second set. Lennox grabbed the early lead, 4-2, to start the third set, but it didn’t last long. Dell Rapids tied the score 6-6 and then built 18-9 lead before winning 25-11.
Maddie Henry finished with 10 kills and two ace serves. Lauryn Kloth had five kills, two blocks, and four digs. Sophi Randall finished with seven kills, two ace serves, two blocks, four digs, and 18 set assists. Kylee Fiddelke had three kills, three ace serves, and seven digs. Karlie Ingalls finished with two kills. Alainal Wolff had 11 digs and three set assists, and Leix Ingalls added six digs.
