The Dell Rapids Quarriers hosted the Flandreau Fliers on senior night on Thursday, September 22nd. Prior to the match, the Quarriers recognized their two seniors, Abigail Greenhoff and Emma Molskness. The Quarriers won the match in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-9, and 25-17.
Flandreau had the early lead to open the match, 6-3. They extended their lead to 13-7. It was at that point the Quarriers put together a long rally. Dell Rapids went on a 9-0 run to take a 16-13 lead. They pushed the lead to 20-15, but Flandreau pulled within two points at 21-19. The Quarriers scored the final four points of the set for the 25-19 win.
The rally continued for Dell Rapids throughout the entire second set. Dell Rapids started with an 8-2 lead. The Fliers did score the next four points to make the score 8-6, but Dell Rapids outscored Flandreau 17-3 the rest of the way for a 25-9 victory.

The third set was played close through most of it. The score was tied early at 9-9. Flandreau then took a small 11-9 lead as the two teams traded points until Dell Rapids pulled away 21-16. The Quarriers extended the lead to 24-16 before winning the set 25-17.
Sophi Randall had 20 set assists, seven ace serves, and three blocks on the night. Maddie Henry had 10 kills and three ace serves. Lauryn Kloth added seven kills and three ace serves. Kylee Fiddelke finished with a team-high 10 digs, while Lexi Ingalls added eight.
Dell Rapids will play at the Sanford Pentagon Tournament on Saturday, September 24th.
