The Beresford Watchdog boys basketball team had their season end in the Region 4A Tournament in Lennox on Tuesday, February 27th. The Orioles pulled away from the Watchdogs throughout the game in a 62-45 win.
Lennox led by just two points at the end of the first quarter, 9-7. The Orioles outscored Beresford 17-10 in the second quarter to extend their lead to 26-17 by halftime. The lead grew to 15 points by the end of the third quarter, 45-30.
Seth James finished with 13 points and five rebounds. Andrew Atwood added 11 points and three rebounds. Aidan Hamm had 10 points and four assists. Jon DeLay ended with five points. Malachi James had four points with seven rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
