Trojan Boys Soccer Splits Matches on Back-to-Back Days

The West Central Trojan boys soccer team split their two matches held on back-to-back days.  The Trojans made the long trip north to Groton to play the Tigers on Monday, September 28th.  They then hosted the Southwest Minnesota Christian Eagles on Tuesday, September 29th.

West Central and Groton played to a 1-1 tie score in the first half of play on Monday.  The Trojans would get two big goals in the second half while holding the Tigers to just one.  West Central earned a 3-2 victory.  Drake Bosch had two of the three goals while having five shots on goal in the match.

After having to use a different soccer field in town due to the very wet conditions on Tuesday, the Trojans and Eagles battled through a scoreless first half.  Southwest Minnesota Christian would get a goal in the second half, the only goal of the match, for a 1-0 win.

The Trojans are 3-9-1 on the season and will travel to Dakota Valley for their final regular season match on Thursday, October 1st.
