West Central Boys Soccer Drops Two Straight Matches by Same Score

The West Central Trojan boys soccer team have lost their last two matches by the same 3-1 score.  They took a road loss to the Vermillion Tanagers on Thursday, September 17th and then suffered a home loss to James Valley Christian on Tuesday, September 22nd.

West Central held a 1-0 lead after the first half against Vermillion.  The Tanagers, however, scored three goals in the second half to take the win 3-1.

On Tuesday, the Vikings scored two goals in the first half.  The first one came at 31:40 remaining.  James Valley Christian got another goal on a penalty kick with 9:23 to play.  The score remained 2-0 at halftime.  West Central’s offense pushed the attacks in the second half, and the Trojans broke through with a goal by Drake Bosch with 9:54 to cut the lead to 2-1.  James Valley Christian, however, scored another goal about five minutes later to secure the win.
