West Central Boys Soccer Wins Two of Last Three Matches

The West Central Trojan boys soccer team has played well recently.  They have won two of their last three matches.  The Trojans earned wins over Freeman/Marion/Parker/Viborg-Hurley and Custer before falling to Hot Springs.

On Tuesday, September 8th, the Trojans traveled to Freeman to play the Bearcats.  West Central scored a goal in the first half for an early 1-0 lead.  Each team would get a goal in the second half giving the Trojans the 2-1 win.  The victory avenged an earlier loss to the Bearcats.

The Trojans then traveled to the west side of the state.  On Friday, September 11th, West Central faced the Custer Wildcats.  The offense had a great day.  The Trojans scored two times in the first half for a 2-0 lead.  They would add three more goals in the second half to take the 5-0 victory.

On Saturday, September 12th, West Central faced the Hot Springs Bison.  The Bison scored a goal in the first half for a 1-0 halftime lead.  They would add another goal in the second half to take the win 2-0.

The Trojans are currently 2-6-1 on the season.
