The West Central Gold 14U baseball team dropped two games on the same night, Tuesday, June 11th. They hosted both Madison White and Dell Rapids Navy.

Dell Rapids scored four runs in the top of the first for an early 4-0 lead. West Central got a run in the bottom of the second for a 4-1 score. Dell Rapids scored another four runs in the top of the third. West Central responded with three runs in the bottom of the inning, making the score 8-4. Dell Rapids put the game away with seven runs in the fourth and seven more in the fifth. West Central scored one more run in the bottom of the fourth.
Jett Whiting had a single and an RBI. Briggs Robbins and Kenny Arends both had a single. Maddax Jackson pitched three innings and allowed 10 runs, six earned, on three hits and four walks with four strikeouts. John Fischer threw 1 1/3 innings and allowed six runs, all unearned, on a hit and three walks.
