The West Central Trojan boys soccer team is still looking for their first win of the season. They fell to the Vermillion Tanagers and Freeman/Marion/Parker/Viborg-Hurley in their last two matches.
The Tanagers found some big momentum in the second half in a 6-0 win over the Trojans on Tuesday, August 18th. Vermillion scored a goal with 17:32 to play in the first half for a 1-0 lead. The score remained 1-0 at halftime. The Tanagers extended their lead to 2-0 at 38:24 to play. They scored again about two minutes later to make it 3-0. Vermillion would go on to score three more times in the half in the win.
The Bobcats scored a goal in each half for a 2-0 win over the Trojans on Saturday, August 22nd. The first goal game late in the first half. With 1:33 to go in the half, the Bobcats scored for a 1-0 lead. They scored their second goal with 16:10 to play in the match.
