The West Central Trojan football team finished 7-4 overall last season falling to Sioux Falls Christian in the 11A semifinals. This year’s team is returning a lot of skill players and expectations are high.
Boche Knight, Hayden Heier, Tanner Wagner, Gavin Reiff, Dylan Bettcher, Bennett Seten, and Beckett Everson are the seniors leading this year’s team.
“We have a young offensive line, but they are a very hard working group,” said head coach Matt Thorson.
West Central opens the 2026 season at home against Dakota Valley on Friday, August 28th.
