West Central 14U Gold Falls in Last Two Games

The West Central 14U Gold baseball team fell in their last two games making their season record 0-8.  They lost 16-4 on Tuesday, July 1st and then lost 22-1 on Wednesday, July 2nd.

In their game on the 1st, West Central got behind 5-0 after the first inning.  They pulled within three runs, 5-2, after scoring two times in the top of the third.  West Central, however, allowed 11 more runs over the next two innings to fall behind 16-2.  They would score two more times in the top of the fifth.

Jacob Phillips had the only hit in the game and had three RBIs.  Jakob Bachtell also had an RBI.

West Central didn’t score until the bottom of the fourth on July 2nd.  They allowed five runs in the first, two in the second, eight in the third, and seven in the top of the fourth.  West Central was held to just one hit, a single by Ashton Brenner.  Oliver Loughman had an RBI.
