West Central Gold 14U put eight runs on the board, but Sioux Falls Christian White scored in every inning in a 23-8 win on Monday, July 8th.
Both teams scored two times in the first inning for a 2-2 score. Sioux Falls Christian then scored five in the top of the second and three more in the top of the third for a 10-2 score. West Central cut the lead to 10-7 with a five-run third inning. Sioux Falls Christian, however, scored the next 13 runs. They scored seven runs in the fourth and six more in the fifth for a 23-7 score. West Central got one run in the bottom of the fifth before the game ended on the 15-run rule.
Judah Wuebben had three hits and two RBIs. Maddax Jackson finished with two singles and two RBIs. Leim Billie had a single. Oliver Gebhard added two RBIs. Jacob Phillips and Brenden Warne both had one RBI each.
