The Humboldt/Hartford legion team out-hit Dell Rapids, but the Phils took the win 7-1 on Tuesday, June 25th.
Dell Rapids broke a scoreless game with three runs in the top of the third. Humboldt/Hartford got their lone run in the bottom of the fourth on an RBI single by Nick Lorang. The Phils, however, scored four more times in the top of the fifth.
Lorang finished with a single and an RBI. Hayes Cain and CJ DenBoer both had a single. Landen Holewa pitched five innings and allowed seven runs, but all of them unearned, on three hits and two walks with four strikeouts. Maison Schult pitched two innings walking two batters and striking out one.
