Tri-Valley Maroon had two big innings and cruised to a 16-1 win over West Central Gold in Humboldt on Wednesday, June 19th.
Tri-Valley jumped out to a 9-0 lead after the top of the first inning. West Central got a single run in the bottom of the first. After a scoreless second inning, Tri-Valley scored seven times in the top of the third. The game ended on the 15-run rule after the third inning.
Maddax Jackson had the only hit in the game for West Central. Judah Wuebben pitched 2 1/3 innings and allowed 15 runs, four earned, on eight hits and six walks with one strikeout. Davin Leuning pitched 2/3 of an inning and allowed a single hit.
