The West Central Trojan girls basketball team finished their 2023-2024 regular season on the road in Chamberlain on Friday, February 16th. The Trojans earned a 58-37 win to close out the season with a 10-10 record.
West Central took the lead in the opening quarter and never lost that lead. They went ahead 14-7 by the end of the first quarter. The lead stayed at seven points at halftime, 26-19. The third quarter is where the Trojans pulled away. They outscored the Cubs 20-9 for a 46-28 lead going into the fourth quarter.
Jazelle Jarding finished with 13 points, two rebounds, and two steals. Alexa Borns added nine points, five rebounds, and two steals. Molly Anderson had eight points, two rebounds, and three assists. Kacey Jaton and Abbi Thornton both had seven points and four rebounds each.
