West Central Boys Wrestling Places Fifth in Yankton

The West Central Trojan boys wrestling team took fifth place at the Yankton Boys Invitational on Saturday, February 3rd.  The Trojans finished with 143.0 points.  Rapid City Stevens took the top team spot.  They were followed by Tea, Pierre, and Watertown.

Keaton Vessells won the 150-pound division with a 3-0 record.  Gavin Pischke took second in the 285-pound class with a 3-1 record.

Karson Vessells (126) finished third with a 4-1 record.  Langdon Klinkhammer (138) also placed third with a 5-1 record.  Alex Siemonsma (106) had a fourth place finish with a 4-2 record.  Jesse Jost (144) placed fifth with a 2-2 record.  Bentley Klinkhammer (113) took sixth with a 1-3 record.  Hayden Whiting (144) was seventh with a 3-2 record.  Cain Grocott (175) also had a seventh place finish with a 3-2 record.  Chaz Carda (160) was eighth with a 2-3 record.  Rayce Whiting (175) was eighth with a 2-3 record.

Grayson Pischke (106), Rason Parmely (120) also took part in the tournament.
