The West Central Trojan wrestling team qualified as the seventh seed for the 2024 South Dakota State Team Wrestling Duals in Watertown on Saturday, February 10th. The Trojans finished the tournament with a sixth place finish.
West Central opened the state tournament with a loss to #2 Pierre by a score of 42-25. They bounced back with a win over #3 Rapid City Stevens 38-32. In the consolation championship, the Trojans faced #5 Brandon Valley. The Lynx took the win 46-24.
