Dakota Valley Takes Win over Trojan Boys

A day after a home game, the West Central Trojan boys had a road game against the Dakota Valley Panthers on Tuesday, January 16th.  Dakota Valley took the win 70-55.

The two teams battled back and forth in the first half.  The Panthers had a 9-0 run in the first quarter to help build a 22-13 lead by the end of the quarter.  The Trojans rallied in the second quarter and tied the game 32-32 by halftime.  Dakota Valley outscored West Central by nine in the third quarter and led 51-42 going into the fourth quarter.  The Panther offense then scored 19 points in the fourth quarter for the win.

Connor Mebius had 14 points and three steals.  Crew Heier added 13 points, five rebounds, and three steals.  Jake Kuhl ended with eight points and four rebounds.  Paden Schulte had six points, six rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
