The West Central Trojan girls basketball team played the Centerville Tornadoes in Vermillion at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center on Saturday, December 16th. The Trojans suffered a 42-59 loss.
Head coach Joe Caffrey said that it was a tough game and the offense just couldn’t get on track during the game. The Trojans shot 25% (13-52) overall, 25% (6-24) from three-point area, and 56% (10-18) from the free-throw line.
Jazelle Jarding finished with 12 points and four rebounds. Alexa Borns had nine points and three rebounds. Molly Anderson added seven points, two rebounds, and three assists.
