Last season the West Central Trojans finished with an overall record of 14-8. They won their opening region tournament game against Madison, but fell to Garretson in a close game in the second round.
The Trojans graduated four seniors from last year. This year’s team will be led by seniors Jazelle Jarding, Alexa Borns, Addison Meadors, Molly Anderson, Clara Nelson, and Emilee Stofferahn.
“We hope this team is able to fill out our roles. We lost four starters from last year’s team, but we a good summer. We are excited to see what this team can do, and we hope to play our best basketball come playoffs,” said head coach Joe Caffrey.
West Central opens the season on the road at Baltic on Tuesday, December 5th.
