The West Central Trojans opened the 2023 volleyball season with an exciting five-set win over the Vermillion Tanagers on Tuesday, August 22nd. The Trojans won by scores of 24-26, 25-14, 23-25, 25-13, and 15-8.
Marissa Dobbs finished with 10 kills and nine set assists. Cambree Ideker added five kills, and four ace serves. Addison Meadors had two ace serves and a block. Jocelyn Nilson finished the night with 27 digs. Landry Heath had 13 digs. Kaia Gabbert and Maddy Ingalls each had one block as well. Ellie Lienhard added 12 set assists.
