The Humboldt/Hartford Gamecocks had their season end in the opening round of the 2023 South Dakota Amateur State B Baseball Tournament in Mitchell on Saturday, August 5th. The Gamecocks fell to Crofton by a score of 6-3.
Cam Quigley and Oscar Pravecek both had two hits each and one RBI. Seth Christiansen took the loss on the mound pitching eight innings and allowing six earned runs on five hits and four walks with nine strikeouts.
The Gamecocks finish with a 12-11 overall record on the season.
