Even though the Hartford/Humboldt Wood Ducks were the away team, they hosted the Dell Rapids Mudcats in a make-up game on Tuesday, July 11th. Despite an early lead, the Wood Ducks fell to the Mudcats 15-3 in seven innings.
The Wood Ducks scored three times in the top of the second inning, but it was all Dell Rapids after that point. The Mudcats tied the game with three runs in the bottom of the second. They went ahead with five runs in the fourth and then added two runs in the fifth and five more in the sixth inning.
Austin King finished with three hits. Nathan Adrian had two hits. Keaton Vessells and Chase Vessells each had one hit.
